We require two learning coordinators one for our home in Derby and one in Matlock.
Purpose of the Post: To carry out duties and responsibilities of the agreed framework and the Education Act 2002, with particular regard to the regulations made under Section 133 and the statutory responsibilities of the Proprietor of the school.
To work under the guidance of senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Special Conditions of Service:
Because of the nature of the post, candidates are not entitled to withhold information regarding convictions by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1964 [Exemptions] Order 1975, as amended. Candidates are required to give any details of any convictions on their application form and are expected to disclose such information at the appointment interview.
The post allows substantial access to children. Candidates are required to comply with company procedures in relation to DBS and relevant checks.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 16.30pm, Term time only.
Salary: £19,250 per year, pro rota
