Willow Farm
Providing residential care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 10-17 of either gender.
Willow Farm is set in over twelve acres of land on the outskirts of Ilkeston, a small market town in Derbyshire, enjoying a lovely, extensive countryside scenery.
The farm house is well presented and decorated to a high standard. The young people are encouraged to personalise their own room. Our Farm project and Department of Education (DfE) registered School is also located at this site. Our dedicated and experienced staff team provide excellent quality care ensuring firm boundaries and strategic behaviour management. This enables our young people to emotionally, physically and spiritually develop in a safe and contained environment. We have been very successful in stabilising behaviours that have significantly impacted the lives of our young people and their families together, supporting the re-building of these relationships. The outcomes for our young people often exceed expectations. |
Our intention is to ensure that opportunities and experiences are fulfilling and rewarding, building confidence and expanding horizons.
We seek to develop skills that will prepare our young people for their future. Therefore we will focus on the improvement of educational achievements, promoting success and aspirations wherever possible. The team are proactive in accessing the provision of a wide range of additional resources. We are able to offer in-house psychotherapy through qualified practitioners. When required referrals can be organised to appropriate external agencies. We have often worked closely with CAMHS and Family Futures. |
